ITINERARY
Even though the designer of the route is you, I offer a bit of my experience. I spend some time to design the most efficient way how to see the most and the best of the Zone in 3 days and this is the result. But remember, this itinerary can be modified in any way and it is up to you if you want to follow it or not.
DAY 1 - GHOST HUNT
- 10:00 Departure from the pick-up point in Kiev
- 12:00 ‘Dityatki’ checkpoint at the border of the Zone
- 12:30 Check-in in hostel Desyatka
- Town of Chernobyl exploration (memorials, port, etc.)
- 17:00 departure from Chernobyl to Pripyat
- 20:00 Dinner at Desyatka
They say that the true fear comes from something you cannot recognise or something unknown to you. Your first exploration will be during the evening/night! By this way, you will leave your civil self behind and you will teleport to a completely different world. We will go around the Pripyat and hunt some ghosts together and I am sure that this experience will stay in your mind for a long time.
DAY 2 - LOST IN THE ZONE
- 07:30 Breakfast
- 08:00 Leaving to ChNPP panaroma view
- 09:00 - 11:00 ChNPP and surrounding
- 11:30 - 12:30 Lunch inside ChNPP canteen
- 13:00 - 19:00 city of Pripyat + Duga
- 20:00 - Dinner and vodka/tea
(The times are variable!)
We will start our second day with some historical facts and exploration of the ChNPP and its surrounding. After lunch, we will finally get lost in the Zone especially in Pripyat. List of interesting places is endless, therefore I prefer to send you my favourite spots by email and you can choose where you want to go. I will be also happy to advise you if you are looking for something specific.
DAY 3 - LIFE IN THE ZONE
- 08:00 Breakfast
- Exploring the abandoned villages
- Small cold lunch on the way
- Visiting re-settlers of the Zone
- departure to Kiev in afternoon hours
Last day of our exploration will be in surrounding areas of Pripyat and Chernobyl. We will explore abandoned villages and other interesting places in the Zone. And our exploration would be incomplete without meeting with the people who returned to their homes, inside the Exclusion Zone, so-called "re-settlers". We will visit them and see how do they live and survive in such a place.

1 person: 480 €
We travel in small groups only: 4 - 15
(bigger or smaller groups are possible by request)

50% down payment when booking
50% in cash when we meet in Kiev

THE DATES
When to visit the Zone?
Anytime! Honestly, there is no perfect date for the visit. It really depends on your preferences and even during the rain, the Zone is breathtaking. You can let me know when you would like to start your exploration and I will do my best to get everything ready by the date. But to secure that everything will go smoothly, you have to let me know at least 14 days before!! Or you can also choose from the dates below.
NOTE: Let me know (if possible) at least 14 days before planned exploration!
SPRING
G1: 26.04. - 28.04.
G2: 29.04. - 01.05.
G3: 03.05. - 05.05.
Changeable weather. Some days are rainy some days are sunny and early spring can be snowy. Trees start to blossom and wildlife is waking up. I find spring season pretty close to FALLOUT 4 weather cycles.
SUMMER
S1: 28.06. - 30.06.
S2: 01.07. - 03.07.
S3: 04.07. - 06.07.
Do you want to see how nature can fully overtake the human kingdom? Then summer is the time for you. The Zone turns green and buildings are hidden between trees and bushes. High chance for good weather. If you like the LAST OF US or DayZ game than this season is for you.
AUTUMN
A1: 20.09. - 22.09.
A2: 23.09. - 25.09.
A3: 26.09. - 28.09.
Autumn brings the true post-apocalyptic atmosphere to the Zone. The dead city becomes wasted when trees turn leaves brown and rusty. With rain, it brings a unique feel of wasteland. The best season for STALKER game fans. My personal favourite!
WINTER
W1: 03.01. - 05.01.
W2: 06.01. - 08.01.
W3: 09.01. - 11.01.
Winters are usually harsh and cold in Ukraine. The zone is covered in snow and everything silent. Wolves and other animal footprints can be seen. Wonderful weather for METRO 2033 game fans.
